Infused Water Recipe: Cranberry Lime

Written by: Kristin Jekielek

The hot days of summer are right around the corner now that we’ve passed the milestone of Memorial Day!

Forget the sugary juices, sweet teas, and drink mixes. You’ll want to refresh and stay hydrated with fruit flavored water for a healthy, Paleo-friendly summer.

If you enjoy sour flavors and don’t like your drinks sweet, then this beverage is perfect for you!

Cranberry Lime Water Infusion

  • ½ cup frozen cranberries
  • Juice of ½ a lime (gotta use fresh lime for this)
  • 16 oz of water

Place all ingredients in a glass. Serve.

The fun part about this water infusion is that the frozen cranberries act like floating ice cubes in your drink. As they slowly thaw out, munch on a couple here and there. It’s an intense flavor explosion!

  • Use lemon instead of lime
  • Use club soda instead of water

2013-05-28 mouth is doing the "sour saliva" thing just thinking about munching on raw cranberries. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for posting.
