Diet tracking can be necessary for creating real, sustained improvements. Kristin realized the importance of diet tracking through her own experiences and after reading many personal stories where diet tracking was the pin that held everything together for many people. Paleo Trail simplifies and improves the diet tracking process.
Kristin Jekielek's paleo trail started back in July 2009. She ate primal for a month to try it out and has never looked back. Kristin is passionate about living a healthy life and helping others do the same, while understanding it might look a little different for each individual.
Kristin specializes in Intro to Paleo seminars for CrossFit boxes and works one-on-one with clients to help them be healthier and happier through Paleo lifestyle principles.
Lately she's been learning a lot more about ancestral diets, and she incorporates bone broth, organ meats, and fermented foods into her daily diet. Paleo was a great starting point, but adding these traditional foods has improved her health even more. Kristin has come to realize that they really are essential for her own optimal health while she learns to live with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (an autoimmune condition), hypothyroidism, and adrenal fatigue.
A couple years ago Kristin created PaleoGoGo, an app for iPhone and Android that helps you stay Paleo(~ish) at over 300 national chain restaurants (US based).
